In today’s world, we sometimes forget that our ultimate goal is not material success. There is information overload accompanied by a spiritual “deficiency” these days. We need to allow our Spirit to guide us.
Within each of us lies the peace and success we need. We just have to tap into it. There are 10 simple principles we can use to understand the mindset necessary to achieve this.
Have an open heart, apply what resonates with you amongst the following and you will find the peace of God that truly defines success. You can have the peaceful and fulfilled life you desire.
This is an honest guide to living happily. Slow down and listen to your “inner voice.” You cannot change other people’s behavior or actions, so just live life the best you can and enjoy every minute of it. Remember there are no justified resentments.
The idea that you call “right” is the idea that someone else calls “wrong.” The solution that you call “perfect” is the solution that another calls “unworkable.” The position that you feel is unassailable is the very position that others assail.
What will solve all of this? Not attack, that’s for sure. And not defense, either. So what is left? Simple human love. The kind of Love that says, “It doesn’t matter who is right or wrong. It only matters that you are not hurt. And that we both can benefit. All true benefits are mutual.”
Freedom’ is just another word for ‘God.’ It is hard to find words in human language to describe God, but ‘Freedom’ is one of them.
Another word for God is…You.
You and God are One. Therefore you, too, are Free.
Free to make choices, free to select your reactions
and responses to life, free to be your authentic Self.
Your past can be likened to the wake of a speed boat, or a plane. Leave it behind where it belongs.
Your past is over, loosen the bond so you can heal and move on. Let go of the past pains, the abuses, the shortcomings. Do no use your personal history to justify self-defeating behaviour and scarcity. Do not wallow in self pity because you are an alcoholic, your parents abused you as a child, or whatever.
The reverse is also true. The “Good Old Days” are gone and will never return and we do not need to recreate them in order to be happy or fulfilled.
In order to become free to immerse yourself in this moment, you must examine the past, understand it, accept it, embrace it with compassion, Love it for all that you have learned and experienced. If you need help to do this, go ahead. This will give you the strength to throw away the past in your own unique way – through a poem, song or in whatever way you feel called to.
There are no mistakes or coincidences in this universe. All the illnesses, abuses and dark times we have been through helped us to get where we are today.
Do not waste time with guilt or regret over the past or worry over the future. It is futile. Do not allow thoughts based on your past to define you. Give up the past and the future in your mind and merge totally into the now.
Be the limitless Spirit you are meant to be and do not try to live up to the labelling you have made for yourself. Any and all limitations are set by you yourself. You are connected to the Source, thus connected to the unlimited power of God. Transform all the limiting beliefs now!
No matter how long you have been going down one path, it is never too late to get off of it and change.
If you bring the higher energy of truth to them, the beliefs that create “problems” in your mind will dissolve. Light will always dissolve darkness just as love will hate. A problem is the belief of the ego mind which does not perceive the spiritual mind, just as dark does not perceive light.
Spirit cancels problems all the time. There is a spiritual solution to every “problem.” Stay connected to Spirit.
However grim the circumstances, believe in your connectedness to God and in your capability of achieving anything. Your thoughts create your reality. Everything and everyone you experience is in your thoughts.
Love a person for what they are, not for what you would like them to be, or what they used to be. The universe is just as it should be.
Treat your body to regular exercise, healthy foods, large amounts of pure water and plenty rest while turning “disease” over to God. Your body will allow the perfect harmony it was designed for to proliferate.
Your physical self, your personality and your God-connected spiritual self will emerge and radiate a higher energy of Love and light.
Simply change your mind from one that created and experienced problems, to one that resolves them.
